After Death
After Death
What happens after your death? This game shows you one way it could be. You have to help the souls relive their lives and fight against enemies. Because of the different gravity of the two souls the simple controls get quite interesting.
There is an ingame tutorial!
A and D to move left and right.
Left Shift to change inbetween souls
Left click to shoot.
But make sure to have the soul selected which picked up the flame (indicated by the circle rotating around the soul).
The goal is to pass the life again and reunite the souls once more. Shoot enemies with the small flames that you collect during the game.
Enjoy this little story of a couple living their lives.

lmao looks like LIMBO
Great game! Simple, to-the-point, and great storytelling and artstyle. Good luck with Steam!
I'd suggest making controls (mainly Switch Souls) changable by the player. Someone suggested Space, but I'd rather have right-click or something i think.
Maybe make the voice lines be subtitled cinematicaly, like each sentence fading in as it plays somewhere nearby in the level. I had some trouble hearing bits and missed some.
It is a very good game! Atmospheric, calm, meditative, trance-inducing (aka daydream-inducing), calming... Did I already say that?
Just kidding! Anyways, the only con I know of is I couldn't hear the voice around 4 minutes into the video but I heard what M_DC said all the other times during editing, though.
Wow really cool, I feel very proud of that since you made a video about it, thank you so much, that totally made my day, I'm so blown away, because, well I'm not really old, in fact we are all teenagers who made that game, and seeing someone enjoying the game just made me so happy!
I sincerely agree!
Well, all of you did a fantastic job! Looking forward to another game!
I love your art style a lot but you could have written less text its a bit too much.
And in the end you could have let the game fade out or something.
But I still love your art and the music.
Maybe I'll learn something of this but this game will get into my collection : )
Thanks for your feedback, since we plan on releasing this on steam this is really valuable, and thanks for the follow ;)
Wow really? I wish you luck.
By the way I forgot to mention that you should change the shift control thing to space. Because windows is always yelling at me when I hit shift too often.
: )
Awesome art style, I love it!
